Naked

Press closely,
Smile softly
And whisper through shapes
Of warmness and wetness.
There’s skin on the floor
And wars in my head;
Ripped up and cut
By claws in our bed.
Masks hang at the door
And we unpeel
To reveal an unknown selfhood,
Beneath us: we are real.
